Gail Power Art Design is a small business owned and operated by Gail Power. A history of making and designing, using found, donated and pre-loved products, has resulted in Gail Power developing a portfolio of unique garments that are stylish, unusual and eco-friendly.

As a result of her passion for style and design and an ever increasing awareness of the pollution inherent in the textile and fashion industries, Gail Power works entirely with pre-loved garments that are refreshed and restyled and diverted from waste.

Working in response to each garment's individual characteristics, Gail Power works by deconstructing and restyling on the mannequin, often working with tailored garments to give each piece a distinctive bespoke appeal. She favours using high quality fabrics, seeking out natural fibres, particularly wool, silk and cotton, which are sourced through donation and from local charity shops. Clients are also encouraged to raid their own wardrobes for loved but no longer worn pieces that she restyles to their personal specifications.
